NASA SEWP V

NASA SEWP V (Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement) is a government-wide acquisition contract vehicle, which provides the latest in Information Technology (IT) products for all federal agencies. The Office of Management and Budget designated NASA as the executive agent to administer the contract on behalf of all federal agencies under the authority of the Information Technology Management Reform Act (ITMRA) of 1996, now the Clinger Cohen Act.

SEWP, pronounced ‘soup’, is a multi-award Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) vehicle focused on IT products and product based services. As such, contract users must adhere to the SEWP V Fair Opportunity Clause, described in detail under FAR Part 16.505(b), Orders Under Multiple-Award Contracts.

SEWP V offers a wide range of advanced technology including desktops and servers; network equipment; storage systems; cybersecurity tools; software products; cloud-based services; video conferencing systems and other ICT products. Product-based services such as installation, training, maintenance and warranty are also available through SEWP. As an OMB authorized GWAC, the SEWP contracts are utilized by all Federal Agencies and help Government agencies meet small business and SDVOSB contracting goals.

Federal Market Exposure

Since the SEWP contract started in May 2015, total purchases amount to almost $25B across nearly 165,000 orders in the Federal marketplace.

FY20 purchases using NASA SEWP V currently exceeds $2.6B, with over 21,000 orders for products like ours. The Department of Defense (DoD, Air Force, Navy, Army, etc.) alone purchased over $1B, Veteran Affairs over $300M, Department of Justice over $130M and nearly every other federal agency made purchase via NASA SEWP V.

Competitive Advantage

There are over 150 NASA SEWP V Prime contract holders. Our partnership with AATD significantly limits competition as a Prime Group B Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). In Group B, there are only 25 contract holders and of that 25, only four are also Small Business Administration 8(a) certified and AATD is one of the four. As an AATD partner, we have a competitive edge to limit the competition and quickly close more business.

Rapid Procurement

Procurement with SEWP V, Group B SDVOSB is fast and efficient. AATD has successfully procured products and services in five to seven days using Group B SDVOSB. Our products and services package can be quickly listed on NASA SEWP V which positions us to immediately to participate in the Federal Marketplace.

Adding Products is Fast and Easy

Once AATD submits our list of products/services to NASA SEWP for approval, AATD normally receives approval within 12 -24 hours. Upon approval and within 6 -12 hours, our products can be added to the SEWP V, Group B SDVOSB contract Other contracts like GSA Schedule 70, can take upwards of 6-9 months to add products and services on their contract vehicle.

Accelerated Payment of Invoices

An added advantage of doing business with us and AATD is our Small Business designation. We qualify for the “Accelerated Payment” of invoices and in many instances, we were in receipt of payment between 12 to 18 days of invoicing the government.
